Production Engineer

We are a prestigious multinational company located in Alexandria, Egypt seeking a dedicated Production Engineer. Core Responsibilities

Process Operation:

• Daily Operations: You will be responsible for operating the extraction process with a strong focus on safety, food safety, product quality, and environmental compliance.
• Change Management: Utilize the management of the change process to adapt and optimize operations as needed.
• Annual Planning: Comply with the department’s annual plan, operating standards, and goals.
• Problem Detection & Resolution: Identify potential problems, develop solutions, and suggest improvements to enhance production efficiency and safety.

Production Operation/Quality:

• Plant Tours: Conduct regular tours within the extraction plant, performing critical path checks to ensure everything is functioning as it should.
• Policy Compliance: Ensure adherence to plant policies and procedures related to safety and housekeeping.
• Efficient Operations: Operate the plant effectively, ensuring that all standards and goals are met or exceeded.
• Reporting & Communication: Communicate with other departments, report operating supplies, and assist the engineering department in identifying and reporting faults.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest industry standards and technologies to continually improve workplace processes and efficiencies.
• Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all run sheets are filled in accurately, log any faults, and follow procedures with a focus on environmental and safety compliance.

Food Safety, Environmental, Health, and Safety:

• Safety Reporting: Report any unsafe practices, equipment, or environmental issues. Attend safety meetings and training sessions as required to stay informed and compliant.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Production, Mechanical, or Electro-mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2-4 years in industrial fields.
• Skills: Advanced PC and Office application skills, fluent in English and Arabic, leadership skills, and strong communication abilities.
